As it is the newest minivan on the market, most Miami Valley residents aren’t quite sure what to expect from the Chrysler Pacifica. Just like with any other Chrysler model, you can expect innovative features designed with your family in mind. Some are familiar, like the Stow ‘n Go seats you will remember from the Town & Country. Others, like the hybrid option, haven’t been seen before. Here are just some of the coolest features on the all-new Pacifica that make it the top minivan on the market.
Fuel Economy and Hybrid Option
In the past, if you wanted a hybrid minivan, you were out of luck. The new Chrysler Pacifica changes that with the available hybrid configuration. Even if you choose to go with the standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gas engine, you get 28 mpg on the highway, numbers the competitors can’t come close to. Going with the Pacifica Hybrid will give you up to 80 MPGe. Best of all, none of these figures require a sacrifice in performance.
Stow ‘n Go Seating
The familiar Stow ‘n Go seating found on the old Town & Country is on the Chrysler Pacifica and better than ever. This system lets you collapse the rear seats with the pull of a lever, adjusting them in seconds. Now you can turn your minivan from people mover to a cargo mover with ease. In fact, thanks to the Stow ‘n Go Seating and Storage System, there is a whopping 243 different seating configurations! Most competitors are hard-pressed to offer a dozen.
Stow ‘n Vac
In addition to the innovative Stow ‘n Go Seating system on the Chrysler Pacifica, you get the truly awesome Stow ‘n Vac. This system is powered by RIDGID and is always with you in your vehicle, carefully tucked away and out of sight. Thanks to the incredibly long hose, you can reach the entire interior of the Pacifica without stretching and even reach some areas just outside of your minivan. This is perfect for parents who like to keep their minivan clean despite messy kids.
Families who have a boat or occasionally need a trailer to help them bring everything along for an extended road trip will truly appreciate the available Trailer Tow Group. This package gives you the best-in-class towing capacity of 3,600 pounds along with a class-two hitch and a 2-inch receiver. Now you can easily tow that Jet Ski or other item that is too large for the Pacifica’s cargo area and don’t have to choose between cargo room and passenger space.
The Uconnect system in the Pacifica is actually multiple awesome features rolled into one convenient bundle. You can opt for the system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface that includes Siri Eyes Free, hands-free calling, Bluetooth streaming audio, voice texting, integrated voice commands, and the ability to customize the home screen with whatever tools and apps you want. The optional Uconnect Theater system has a dual-screen entertainment system with Blu-ray playback, along with USB, HDMI, and Bluetooth inputs. Uconnect Theater can even give your rear-seat passengers access to a range of games.
