Jeep lovers will be surprised and delighted when the 2014 Jeep Cherokee will be debuted at the New York Auto Show this week. After a decade-long absence, the all-new Jeep Cherokee will have a complete design refresh that closely resembles the Jeep Liberty, according to jeepinthenews.com.
One of the features to be on the lookout for is the grill on the all-new 2014 Cherokee. The seven-slot grill will be more blended to the curvy hood and the design is smaller and thinner. The front headlights are split into two, also. With this new design, the front bumper is almost flush with the front of the vehicle. While there are many similarities, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee will not be as “boxy” as the Jeep Liberty.
There are not any public interior or rear photos of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee at this time. Nor are there details about its powertrain. According to jeepinthenews.com, the new model is rumored to feature a 45% improvement in mpg when compared to the Jeep Liberty.
Scheduled to go on sale at dealerships this summer, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee will be unveiled as a compact SUV to the media before the New York Auto Show is publically opened.
