At first look, there are obvious body styling changes from its two predecessors, the Jeep Cherokee of the 1990’s and the Jeep Liberty. When Ralph Gilles, Jeep Cherokee designer, was asked about the design, he responded by saying that at first glance the design might look very different from traditional Jeeps, but there are many features that page homage to the Jeep tradition. The Jeep Cherokee designer mentioned that the SUV design has many traditional Jeep features such as squared-wheel wells, and a sharp downward angle along the front. The Jeep Cherokee designer also said the design is very contemporary and will still be stylish five years from now.
Jeep Cherokee Assembly
The Jeep Cherokee is currently in the ending stages of assembly in the Toledo, Ohio Assembly Plant. Jeep Shoppers can expect to see the Jeep Cherokee our Jeep dealership showroom in the third quarter of this year.
