Tax Benefits

If you purchase a truck and use it for your business this year, you are eligible for some big tax benefits. Your new RAM truck could be tax deductible under Section 168(K) or Section 179. Under Section 168(K) you can choose to treat the cost of any qualified property (RAM truck) as an expense allowed as a deduction for the taxable year in which the property is acquired and placed in service. This means if you buy and use your new RAM truck for your business this year, you can claim it as a business expense and receive a tax deduction. Similarly, a RAM truck is also considered a tax deductible expense under Section 179.
