The chassis cab also has a steel rear frame with an unsurpassed strength of 50,000 PSI. Thanks to the hydroformed front-rail system in the RAM 4500, it can easily accommodate upfits. The oil change intervals on this chassis cab are also impressive at 10,000 miles with the gas engine or 12,000 miles with the Cummins turbodiesel.

The RAM 5500 also offers an amazing Power Take Off Control, which has improved customization and capability. This includes the Mobile Mode RPM Up feature that lets you use the steering wheel controls to set a higher RPM.
