From working at Paul Sherry Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, I am constantly get asked from friends and family near Dayton about what advice I might have about purchasing a new car. This is the advice I give for them when they are browsing car dealers near Dayton.
Being in the market for a new car can be exciting for anyone, especially when you first make the decision. From a car dealer’s perspective, you’ve crossed what we call the Zero Moment of Truth. This is where dealers make the most money from car buyers. Why? Because most likely the shopper didn’t shop around, and you are probably in the “heat of the moment.” Consumers do this because it’s what they feel comfortable doing, and it’s normal for any shopper naturally lean toward what’s comfortable. This allows for the largest profit margins for a any new car dealer. Avoid buying the first car you see!
